Deepak Kumar an Architect Planner with more than 12 years of experience completed his Bachelor’s of Architecture with honours in 2009 and pursued his Master’s degree from CEPT University, Ahmedabad in 2013. He worked on a range of National design competition projects, Residential Group Housing Projects, Corporate Office Buildings, Advanced Housing Project Funding, etc. during his Industrial experience in India. His experience ranges from designing and executing Large scale Residential buildings, Office complexes to educational buildings with renowned Architect Dr. Bimal Patel, PNB Housing Finance Ltd, and Real Estate company ATS Infrastructure Ltd.
As an academician from the last nine years since 2015 he is working towards amalgamation of design practice with design pedagogy with reputed institutes like SPSA in Sonipat, SGI in Gurugram, Chandigarh University in Mohali and MBS SPA, New Delhi. He has guided many students in their Thesis & Research and he has six research papers published under his name as of now and is looking for more in recent coming years.
He has also been actively involved in organising several academic co-curricular activities like Faculty Development Program, Seminars/Webinars, Conferences, Workshops etc. and lead the students of MBS SPA in NASA, Talent Club “Jigyasu” - Design Competition, College pamphlet/brochure/Magazine etc. His network in the field of Architecture & Planning is an asset for any institution, it may be as speakers, presenters, jurors etc. He himself has two guest lectures under his name for the topic “Design Approach” in MRSPTU, Bathinda and Symbiosis, Pune.
His theory of working in academia is to propagate ideology “Importance of Process over Product”. His curious nature with an undying urge to learn and passion for teaching with student individual assessment quality keeps him on the top of his mentorship.
