Dr. Ritu Rai has a multitude of experiences in transdisciplinary realm of industrial economics, cluster economics and regional development. She has been a gold medalist in graduation Programme at university level. After qualifying the Junior research Fellowship of UGC (JRF-SRF), she has been awarded the Ph.D. degree recently.
Her academic and research interests encompass cluster planning and economic forecasting for regional development, new economic geographies, elements of geomorphology, urban development, fluvial dynamics, contemporary studies about human development and disaster management. She has published 10 research papers in impact factor/internationally peer reviewed/UGC listed care journals. She has presented various papers in national and international conferences. She has been associated with Uttar Pradesh - Uttarakhand Economic Association and International Cartographic Association (INCA) 2017 onwards. As an educator from past seven years, she is dedicated to sensitise students and the society at large, and help critical thinking on issues that rule the contemporary times.
