MBS School of Planning and Architecture was established in 2009 by the ACME Educational Society to impart Architectural Education to meet the ever-changing needs and challenges of the future needs of architecture. The college is strategically located in sub-cityDwarka, well connected with different regions of Delhi NCR through road, public transport and metro system. The college has the strength of 600 students and over 50 faculty members with specialization from different regions and branches of Architecture. MBS SPA is a centre for research, education, production and outreach with the mission of envisioning the future habitat of our society and exposing the students to build it in the present.
The young campus, with a concave central planning, has a green spacious environment in the centre. Internally the studios are well ventilated, spacious and the view from each studio is unbiased and promotes the east disturbance from external elements. The campus also stands out in terms of infrastructure through its well-equipped resource centralised labs for Computers, Building Construction & Materials. Climatology, surveying and model workshop. All these centres are fully functional with the latest devices and machineries.
MBS SPA is steadily but surely making a name for itself as an institution imparting quality architectural education, not just in the city and the region but on the national front as well. With the integrated efforts put in by the management, its dedicated faculty and the enthusiastic students, it is constantly growing and evolving.
Students have been outshining the performance of the previous batches, both in academics as well as in other activities and displaying their talent and skills in a plethora of forums. The faculty is also sparing no effort to keep itself abreast of the latest developments in the field and exploring new and innovative techniques in pedagogy. The institution has made seminars, workshops and such interfaces a part of the almanac so that students as well as the teaching fraternity get an overview of the industry and the world outside concurrently with the academic education. Seminars that go beyond the realm of architecture are also included and so a host of student-centric, extra-curricular activities pertaining to sports and culture.
