    MBS SPA Welcomes Singing sensation SHAEL on 25th October 2018 at MBS SPA Campus

      A Two day Workshop on “GREEN BUILDINGS & GRIHA” had been organized for the B.Arch IVth year students on 17th and 18th October, 2018 in the college premises. The workshop had been organized in association with GRIHA Council, TERI, Defence Colony, New Delhi. The workshop was conducted by 

      1. Mr Akash Deep, senior Manager, GRIHA Council

      2. Mr. Priya Ranjan , Assistant Project Officer, GRIHA Council.

      3. Mr Ankit Bhalla, Deputy Manager, GRIHA Council

      4. Mr. Shivam, Assistant Project Officer, GRIHA Council.

      The interactive workshop aimed at imparting general awareness on green buildings and GRIHA along with making students learn about designing efficient built spaces by being mindful to human comfort conditions. The students learned about sustainable design strategies for optimum building performance through audit exercise on visual, thermal and acoustic comfort. The workshop is also focused on calculation of day lighting and optimum shading design.

      At the conclusion of the workshop the participating students were awarded with a certificate of participation by the GRIHA Council.

      MBS SPA celebrated Navratri by organizing Garba Dandiya Raas on 12th Oct'18 at the campus. The cultural event became a success with the efforts of students & faculty members. For the event, students had painted and decorated various pots, made beautiful artistic banners and other decoration items under guidance & supervision of faculty members. The cultural committee, heading the event, organized the complete event. The event had aimed to celebrate the auspicious feelings of the festival by involving both students and faculty members in organizing the event. The preparation for event involved evolving and enhancing creative ideas of the students while integrating it with their social development by engaging them in group works and performance activities. To increase the enthusiasm and promote the traditional attire among the students and faculty members for the event, awards for best dress, best footwear and best performances were introduced.

      The appetizing chats and golgappas eateries completed the essence of the event. The three hours event became a good site of interaction for the faculty and students and all had a gala time, dancing on the beats of Gujarati and Punjabi songs, making it a great success.
